Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Jack Leaver
With the second volume of the Insurgent Country series, Bloodshot Records broadens its scope to include bands from all over the country. One of the collection's other standout tracks, "22," from San Francisco's Richard Buckner, is also the darkest. In chilling literary detail, Buckner's song character describes his suicide from unrequited love, casting a long but compelling shadow on the collection.
