Bracher and Halloran's point that integrity is the only foundation for long-term success is well made. Their arguments are convincing because they are rooted in situations and questions everyone faces and struggles with. They have done an excellent job in describing not only how to build a business that will last, but a society. Their eight basic rules for assessing integrity in oneself as well as recognizing it in others are simple and understandable. Their approach in describing integrity is based on real-life examples and questions posed by readers of the weekly newspaper column of the same name. I found the examples both answered questions I've faced and challenged me to ask more of myself.
