Por su trabajo en el campo de la ciencia de datos de interés general, ha sido reconocida con los premios MITInnovators Under 35 Latam y 100 Inspiring Women de la BBC; además fue elegida como fellow en el Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society de la Universidad de Harvard.  

Paola Villarreal is a data scientist and programmer with more than 25 years of international experience leading multidisciplinary teams in the private, public and non-profit sectors. For her work in the field of data science of general interest, she has been recognized with the BBC's MITInnovators Under 35 Latam and 100 Inspiring Women awards; she was also elected as a fellow at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society at Harvard University.
