Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher
"Intelligence—The Secret World of Spies takes a comprehensive view, with the readings pegged to the major components of U.S. intelligence. I cannot wait to use the reorganized and updated fourth edition. I do and will recommend this book to colleagues. I describe it as the best general reader on U.S. intelligence available out there. Johnson and Wirtz get it right, as usual."—Michael A. Turner, University of San Diego

"The chapters are all relevant and timely. This book is an important text for students who either want to go into intelligence as a career or seek a graduate degree in this field. I have already recommended this book to many colleagues teaching national security and statecraft. An excellent choice."—Kamal A. Beyoghlow, American University
