Overview

In this controversial classic work, noted feminist thinker Andrea Dworkin examines the oppression of women in our society and finds its roots in the most basic sexual act. Her startling and provocative answer challenges us to rethink the very act without which humanity would cease to exist. ...

Her startling and provocative answer challenges us to rethink the very act without which humanity would cease to exist.

In this truly radical work Andrea Dworkin asserts that the essence of female oppression is rooted in nothing less than the act of sexual intercourse itself.

Reagan antagonist, Feminisst icon s#&t disturber

You get what's on the box, but abit of a let down. Overly dependent on a few arcane books and repetative in its zealotry.

    Fierce

In 'Intercourse,' Dworkin lays down a visceral foundation for PIV (penis in vagina) sex as an oppressive social construct designed to keep women oppressed as a sex-based class. Her fearless language (no doubt seen as 'crass' in society during second-wave feminism) not only clearlt names the problem of patriarchy, but also provides us a call to action. For if we can name the problem, we can begin to address it.
