Meet the Author

Paul D'Anieri is a professor of political science and the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Florida. He teaches international relations and comparative politics and specializes in politics and foreign policy in the post-Soviet states. Dr. D'Anieri's books include ECONOMIC INTERDEPENDENCE IN UKRAINIAN-RUSSIAN RELATIONS; UNDERSTANDING UKRAINIAN POLITICS: POWER, POLITICS, AND INSTITUTIONAL DESIGN; and POLITICS AND SOCIETY IN UKRAINE. His articles have appeared in numerous academic journals and publications on Eastern European politics.
