Although New Order has several other compilations available, I have to say this was a welcomed release. You can really see the progression of the band here. Chart toppers like "Electric Avenue" and "Pass the dutchie" give you a taste of their reggae influence, and then the album fades into their darker, more introspective tracks. I have to say that by adding Duane Allman into the mix on slide guitar they really made a wise move, as he gave them more of a broad appeal and was more or less their ticket into the honky tonk circuit. If you're looking for a cross section of what goth-pop has been up to over the last 6 years, this is a great place to start. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
