About the Author John R. Levine has written or cowritten a dozen computer books, including several bestselling Internet titles. A former software developer, John lectures frequently on the Internet and moderates a newsgroup. He is also a board member of the Coalition Against Unsolicited E-mail, a user advocacy group, and runs the Network Abuse Clearinghouse, which helps users deal with abusive online behavior.
