Raleigh artist, Linda Rae Blair, has traveled the U.S. extensively. With a family history of Scots-Irish immigrants to the U.S. around the time of the revolution and as a 13th generation direct descendant to John Alden & Priscilla Mullins, pilgrims of Mayflower fame, she has always been a lover of history. She combines these into sagas that are interesting to history buffs and lovers of romance and mystery. She has spent many happy hours in Virginia Beach during off-season when the winds blow hard and cold and the salty air whips at the weather-protected palms. This is the locale chosen for Preston Andrews Mysteries series. Locals and visitors alike will find many familiar frames of reference in this series.
