Insider secrets: to passing the interview and avoid being in the 90% who fail!

Have you ever wondered why some candidates seem to pass with relative ease, while others fail?

The reason is not down to native intelligence, nor talent or dedication. It isn't that one person wants success and the other doesn't. The difference lies in what each person knows and how he or she makes use of that knowledge.

That is the whole purpose of this book: to give you knowledge - knowledge that you can use to: Navigate the challenging road that 90% of applicants stumble and fail on, and fast-track your way with ease to a glamorous career, with your chosen airline, that will take you to exotic countries and hotels all around the world.

By educating and exposing the little known-secrets that airlines use to weed out 90% of the 15,000 applications that they receive each month, this tell-all book is guaranteed to make sure you are in the elite 10% that are selected.

Now you too can master the interview and live your dream.

Carrie Loren is a former cabin crew member turned professional interview coach. Over the past six years, Carrie has coached hundreds of candidates to interview success. Now, in this groundbreaking book, she will teach you those same strategies so you too can live your dream.

"Just as Carrie Loren urges those who read her book to do their research in seeking a cabin crew position, it is apparent that she has done hers in creating and writing this thorough and thoroughly engaging book."

Reviewed by Joseph Yurt for Reader Views (6/11) Author Carrie Loren dubs her book, "Interview Mastery | Cabin Crew," a personal training program for those pursuing a career as an airline cabin crew team member, and indeed the book reads much like a thorough and in-depth manual that might accompany a training program. But this book is also a pleasant read in itself, in terms of the human dynamics of seeking meaningful, fulfilling employment. And, while this volume is focused on securing a cabin crew position, the universal techniques, tools and tips that are offered by Ms. Loren could make this book comforting for anyone to have on their library shelf, especially in today's unstable economy. "Interview Mastery | Cabin Crew" is divided into five parts: Research, Prepare, Apply, Attend, and Q & A Survival Guide. Each of these parts in detailed in-depth. Part One is the most specific of the parts to the cabin crew position, but even IF the reader is not specifically seeking that position, Part One offers valuable direction on the importance of "doing your research" when going after a position in any industry. I also enjoyed Part One because it gave me a new perspective on and respect for this career Part two examine the psychology and image/appearance aspects of the interview experience, while Parts Three, Four and Five explore virtually every facet of the pre through post interview process. Ms. Loren uses several devices to ensure that her book provides the reader with the opportunity to interact with her book, including tip lists, quick quizzes, and humorous scenarios. Numerous samples, examples and models are helpful and effectively thought-provoking. And, for me, the most engaging and motivational component of the book is the Q & A Survival Guide. In this part, the reader is provided with a lengthy list of the possible interviewer "scenario questions," accompanied by explanations of what the interviewer is trying to uncover about you with each question and suggested responses. One omission, which I found curious, given the current top-of-mind awareness of the issue, was the lack of any content related to explaining lapses in employment resulting from the prolonged, "soft" job market. Conventional explanations of employment lapses resulting from maternity leave, spending more time with family, etc., are offered though. Just as Carrie Loren urges those who read her book to do their research in seeking a cabin crew position, it is apparent upon reading "Interview Mastery | Cabin Crew," that she has done hers in creating and writing this thorough and thoroughly engaging book. And despite its airline industry specificity, it demonstrates the potential to benefit savvy and novice job seekers alike, regardless of the industry in which they have an interest. Book received free of charge.
