Editorial Reviews

A Romance Review (ARR) - Kris Alice
Female assassins and killers as heroines are an interesting concept. Not done too often, I seem to only remember Tina St. John and Suzanne Forster right now. It doesn’t always work, but Ms. Low manages to introduce her as tough, brave, intelligent but also vulnerable. So just like the hero, I wasn’t appalled or disgusted by her and her profession, instead, just like Steve, I was enthralled by Marlena’s mysterious personality and admired her for her gutsy and sharp moves.

Cross and double cross is the name of this game, and no one is quite what they seem. Gennita Low will wow readers with this intensely sensual and suspenseful first tale.
Romance Reader Connection - Jennifer Russell
...this book has so many twists and turns, I’d be spoiling it for most of you. Low has created a riveting plot, whose characters are stunningly fresh and vibrant and the plot will keep you guessing until the end.

With enough sexual drama and erotic love scenes to leave you breathless, the pearl scene itself will have readers everywhere snapping up this book for it alone. But the love scenes aren’t the only thing going for this smartly woven suspense and intrigue romance. M

    A winner

CIA team TIARA Task Force Two abducts the man hired to chauffeur the mythically renowned assassin Marlena Maxwell. They replace the captured driver with US Navy Seal Steve McMillan whose assignment is to learn the identity of Marlena¿s next victim........................ From the first moment when Marlena manhandles Steve, he finds himself quite attracted to her. Shocking to the proficient killer, Marlena finds she is also distracted as Steve shows courage and a dry sense of humor even when his wrong gun is loaded. Marlena assumes her stud driver is CIA, but also knows that potentially he could be part of some other alphabet soup agency. Regardless of who planted Steve and her feelings for him, the consummate professional plans to do what she does best, complete her latest assignment................................... Fans of taut thrillers with a romantic element will want to join the lead couple INTO DANGER. The story line is loaded with action, especially double and triple crosses, and an assortment of intriguing characters though masks inside masquerades adds to the suspense. Though at times the tale seems undecided as to whether to satirize ¿Jane¿ Bond or go serious, fans of terse romantic suspense espionage thrillers will receive quite a high from this superb novel........................ This book grabs you from the first page

Gennita Low¿s debut novel is a heart stopping good time. It is full of intrigue, suspense and most of all sizzle. Steve ¿Stash¿ McMillan is a Navy Seal, whose newest assignment is with Task Force Two of TIARA (Tactical Intelligence and Related Activities) Steve is assigned to watch the suspected assassin, Marlena Maxwell. But, Marlena isn¿t exactly what she appears to be, she is so much more. The cat and mouse game of attraction between Steve and Marlena is so hot you will have to keep fanning yourself. Besides the sizzle, the high stakes world of intelligence will also keep you glued to your seat. What a fantastic start to a great writing career.

Covert Ops, Female Agent, Navy SEAL - OH MY!!

What a great debut book - and the start, I hope, of a great series! Navy SEAL Steve (Stash) McMillan is on loan to TIARA to help find an assasin. He and agent Marlena Maxwell will have to work deep undercover to find the bad guy. But neither of them realizes just how deep they'll get - into the mission and into each other. I can't rave enough about this book. If you like sexy Navy SEALS and strong, intelligent heroines, you are sure to love this novel. More, Ms. Low, More!!

A HIT ON THE FIRST TRY!!

If you're looking for suspense, intrigue and steam, look no further!! Gennita Low's first book, INTO DANGER, gives you all this and much more. Hot, macho Navy SEAL Steve McMillan meets sexy, mysterious possible assassin Marlena Maxwell and the sparks fly from Page One. Ms. Low has enough twists and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat and by the end of the book, I was begging for more. I look forward to more from this dynamic new author.

    Excellent romantic suspense.....

Navy Seal Steve McMillan has been assigned an undercover job with the CIA¿s TIARA group. His assignment, to play chauffer to the infamous assassin Marlena Maxwell and try to deduce whom her current target is. Marlena is proficient at playing mind games, but so is Steve. As she tries figure out what agency Steve really works for, and whose side of the game he is on, the fireworks explode between these compelling characters. As the story builds, interesting secondary characters abound, each seeming to have their own agenda, playing a riveting game of cross and double cross. Gathering intelligence and eliminating the good guys from the bad are the primary focus of the plot, and the suspense never lets up. Marlena has an agenda all her own, and being the professional she is, vows to see her job to the end. But is she really what she appears to be? Steve has his work cut out for him. He¿s torn between getting his job done, while falling for the sexy Marlena. These are two of the greatest leading protagonists to hit the pages in a long time. This is an intensely sensual and suspenseful tale, which left me anticipating more to come from this great author.

A Great New Romantic Suspense Author!!!

Steve McMillan is a Navy SEAL assigned to work with the CIA's TIARA group. His spy team is after assassin Marlena Maxwell and Steve is going undercover to play errand boy. He doesn't count on finding himself both intrigued and attracted to the "world's most glamorous assassin." Marlena Maxwell came to Washington D.C. to do a job and she's not going to let her attraction to her newest lackey distract her. She's a professional. But despite her best intentions, she finds herself curious about Steve McMillan. He's different than all the other gofers she's had in the past. And he's much sexier. They both have secrets to keep, but as Steve and Marlena move deeper into a shadowy world of spies and counterspies, they find attraction becoming something more. Something hotter. INTO DANGER is one of the best books I've read in a long time! Steve McMillan is an honorable man torn between his ideas of right and wrong and his deepening feelings for a woman whose dossier says she's one of the bad guys. Marlena Maxwell has an agenda all her own and she's not talking about what it is. The verbal dueling between the hero and heroine is both humorous and sexy. The hero is as hot as they come and does he ever know how to play kissing games! I was lucky enough to get my hands on an Advanced Reading Copy of INTO DANGER and after reading this book, I have a brand new author to add to my must-buy list! Gennita Low delivers everything. Great dialogue, a complex story, a hero and heroine who sizzle when they're together, and a wonderful romance.

Sizzle Sizzle...Too hot to put down

I am a man in the Denver area and must admit I do not normally read romance novels. I enjoy books with suspense and International intelligence plots. I was pleasantly surprised by this authors ability to detail intelligence gathering techniques and sprinkle it throughout the book. The characters were intriquing and and the love scenes exotic. If you like extreme suspense you will enjoy this book. If you enjoy romance and suspense you will read this book cover to cover and wish for more. Bravo, Bravo. Although my name is Steve I now only answer to the name Ste-vo

    very, very interesting

Well, I must say, this is one of the best books I have read all year long, and I have read MANY, MANY books! I love that the main characters were pretty equal and love the banter between them. I like that the male character was ALL male to the end and wasn't a pushover.

Looking forward to reading about T and Alex in a story to come.
I do like the military and Intel aspect of the book, although the story seemed more of a romance than mystery.

The only part I did NOT like was what the main characters were doing down in the boat while there were dead bodies up above. That part seemed pretty lame. Wouldn't normal people get OFF the boat where dead people were first to do their naughty??? haha

    Couldn't get through it

I thought this book was all simmering sexual tension. It came highly recommented. But, all the 2 main characters did was try and 'best' each other. They never really talked or connected. I gave up half way through.

    I enjoyed it BUT....

I enjoyed this but for the most part except when the author always had to have Stash rescue Lena, even though she was supposed to be this tough professional. Stash was always taking control and bragged about having to rescue her repeatedly and told her she couldn't do any missions without him. I just found it irritating that once she met him and had sex he became possessive and she couldn't function without him. She apparently liked being dominated but then don't make her out to be a superagent who meets a man and 3 days later can't bear to live if anything happened to him. Too vulnerable. I love sexy scenes in novels but it was too hard to figure out what the hell was going on with pearls. I found the sex scenes not sexy and I just skimmed them. I like Iris Johansen, Elizabeth Lowell and Cherry Adair their lead characters don't irritate me. I would like to read a story about Tess but with Hawk and not Alex.

    OH MY GOSH

This is the best book I've read all year. True romantic suspense, you know how some books give you too much of one and not enough of the other, well not this book. You will be in love with Stash & rooting for Marlena, it holds you to the very last page. Like me, I guarantee you'll be itching for a sequel! This is definitely one of those books you'll tell your girlfriend about, but not loan it to her, LOL.

    I won an ARC!

What can I say but M is for Marvelous. I absolutely loved this book. First we have Steve aka Stash who is a SEAL operative working in an intel sector known as TIARA and we have Marlena Maxwell an assassin. When the two meet, the sparks fly and the story begins. These two are incredibly strong characters that you will want to see over and over again. The secondary characters are just as exciting as Stash and Marlena and I, for one, am looking forward to seeing future books with them in it!
