    An Absolute Delight

Debut author Paula Reed knows how to keep a reader's interest. Her plot is intriguing, her dialogue realistic, her love story enchanting. Into His Arms is all anyone could wish for in a romance.

    Lovely

I love conflicts that are based on the hero and heroine growing up in very different worlds and meeting and understanding each other because of common human bonds. Reed does a fine job of bringing the heroine and hero together and making both of their worlds vivid. Can't get much different than a pirate with questionable roots and a puritan with strong family ties. Faith is a great heroine with strong beliefs and equally strong doubts in those beliefs that make her thoroughly human. Reading about her struggling to come to terms with her upbringing would have been fun enough. Add in the spice of her attraction for Geoff, the not-so-wicked pirate, and it's a fun (and hot) romance.

    Great New Read!

Into His Arms is a wonderful read - excellent prose combined with a good tale. It keeps you wanting to find out 'what happens next'. It has depth as well as excitement with characters who are fully three dimensional. Paula Reed has done an excellent job of creating characters who have doubts and fears that modern readers can relate to and thus engage us where we are in our own lives as well as in the story line. I'm eagerly waiting for Paula Reed's next book!

    A really great debut...

I really enjoyed this book. The characters were well drawn and unique, not cliche at all. The idea of a Puritan not content with her lot, intriging, and the setting fabulous. And the price? Icing on the cake.

Love as deep as the ocean

Paula Reed gives us an entertaining, sensuous and thought-provoking debut novel. Geoff Hampton and Faith Cooper draw us into their story as they travel a spiritual journey as thrilling and uncertain as crossing the high seas in a seventeenth century sailing vessel. The joy Geoff and Faith find together in the end is all the more satisfying because of the difficulties each of them faced along the way.

    An outstanding debut!

It's hard to believe this was Ms. Reed's debut novel, it was so well-crafted, so beautifully written! The characters were fresh and unique, well developed, believable and consistent. The romance was palpable and the characters remained true to themselves even as they fell in love and learned invaluable lessons about acceptance and trust. Descriptions were vivid, and I felt myself transported back in time, enjoying the glimpse of 17th Century Massachussetts, the Caribbean, and Jamaica. Ms. Reed clearly did her research, and it shows. This was a can't-put-down read that stays with you long after you read the last page. I highly recommend Into His Arms, and I look forward to Ms. Reed's future releases.
