Meet the Author

1/29/14 I wrote Chapter 1 of Volume 7, the last book in the Blue Series today. After receiving numerous emails and facebook posts from readers saying the same thing: the ending in Volume 6, True Blue, left many of them asking, "What happened to the main characters?" I left the ending like this for two reasons: first, I wanted to end the story with an open interpretation, hoping the reader could take the story to wherever he/she wanted it to go. Second, I wanted to eventually get back to the story in time, if I ever had the inkling to continue some of the storyline in the distant future. Now that I've received many readers' critiques and inquiries about the story's ending, I feel as though I need to answer the questions and give those interested a sense of completion to my series (and I'm very flattered by the way, to know that I've reached out and touched some of you with my story). So, I should have Volume 7 published by Summer, 2014 and then it's onto another fun writing project :)"We are all apprentices in a craft where no one ever becomes a master.” —Ernest HemingwayMy Email: jdillon2003@msn.com Please write me a message if you want, I'd love to hear from you.Bio: As a novice writer, I wrote the first three books from The Blue Series during the years 2006 through 2009. I wrote Into The Blue over a six month period in 2012 and have recently finished Back To Blue, Volume 5 a few months ago. I am currently writing the seventh book in the series if you count Beyond The Blue as two books.I grew up in Oceanside, California, attended and survived Vista High School, and did attempt twice in one lonely summer, to drown at Oceanside Beach. I desperately wanted to be a boy as a child and teenager and envied my two brothers for their gender. I was considered a loner, didn't have any friends, so I created the story as a means of escape. It worked most of the time and I have to admit, it kept me out of trouble.

I just wanted to tell this "Master" author that this series is brilliant and I love it.....please don't stop now! And to everyone out there I have to say READ THIS! This series is so well written it made me laugh, cry, gasp, and cringe as I followed these amazing people and life altering events as they progressed and evolved through these books. I'm hooked! I truly hope Mrs Dillon that you continue this series. I would love to follow you a little deeper down the rabbit hole!!!

I just finished Into the Blue and really hope she decides to write another book for this series. I wasn't sure when I first started them if they would be what I like but I was drawn into them by the connection between David and Dillon and was really hoping to see Dillon grow more into his power so he could help his brother. I'd love to see David in more control and at least, if stuck with Louis, be on a more equal footing. And, what happend to Joel???

    The Blue series

This is a series of books and the author did a great job. It's a unique story line and the characters grow and evolve as the story continues. I'm not sure why people leave negative reviews without constructive criticism. It's ok though because its their loss.

    Great books...terrible spelling!

These books have been wonderful, couldn't stop reading. The lack of editing is a bit irritating with a ton of spelling errors and other wrong words like the repeated use of "pons" instead of "pawns"...but the story itself is excellent. Eager for book 6

    Great book

Into the Blue is a very good book. It can be sad at times, but all and all the other parts make it even better. Can't wait for the next book to come out.
