Macie Jeansonne is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, and has been interested in history for as long as she could remember. Her favorite genre, in either movies or literature, is historical fiction. She loves learning about any period in history, whether it be American history, Louisiana history, World history, or even pre-modern history.
She is currently attending college at the University of New Orleans, pursuing a degree in English with a concentration in creative writing. Writing has been a passion of hers since she was in middle school and even contributes writing, and extension reading, to saving her life when she was suffering from depression. Writing saved her, and she wants her writing to help others.
