    Another fantastic read!

    Into the Savage dawn

Another fantastic read from this author! I had trouble putting the book down and read far into the night to finish it, and then was sorry when it was done.

This story followed Riley’s Journey where a group from the present went so far back in time that the ferocious and ugly Cro-Magnon’s were their biggest enemies. Even tho this story centered mostly on Geena and Seth and their fight to stay alive—killing a massive hungry bear, running from an enemy with her wounded, and him carrying her every step of the way—it also focused on the main threat to the group as a whole. They needed every warrior to keep the band from being killed. Geena and Seth knew it was imperative for them to catch up after being parted. This alone drove them on, pushing them past unbelievable setbacks.

The authors did weave a lot about the other characters in this wonderfully entertaining story, and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it means there’ll be another book.
Maybe others in the group with their own love stories and more adventures. Yes! Please!!

    Great series

I read all of the books in the series. Each as good or better than the last. A little disappointed that it had to end. But I guess all good things must.

A one-way time-travel trip traps a team of scientists, adventure

A one-way time-travel trip traps a team of scientists, adventurers, botanists, healers and more in a pre-historic world of glorious beauty and terrifying danger. Their plan is to form a tribe, and survive. But will modern women really want to settle down and bear babies, and will modern men allow them their freedom in a world where might is right?

Geena is a strong female lead in this adventure, isolated and injured, struggling to catch up with the group. Meanwhile Seth battles his emotions, memories and the environment as he tries to find her. So many things could be taken for granted in the modern world, but now bears, dire wolves, and even Cro-Magnons eat people for breakfast while vultures scavenge the bones.

Of course, love is one of the things too easily taken for granted, and words unspoken draw Seth and Geena together just as old silences keep them apart. “Seth’s a warrior and Geena’s a survivor,” says Nathan as the party travels on without them. But this world contains more warriors and more survivors than any expect. The author creates scenery, battle scenes and peoples with confident prose and fast modern dialog, making this novel a quick, fascinating, and exciting romantic read.
