Overview

Gene has taken control of his pack after the devastating loss of his father. He has been preparing for this his entire life, but nothing could have prepared him for the brewing war, or the beautiful alpha female, Talia. Enemies are everywhere and Gene must fight to protect his pack. He wants to trust Talia, but it's hard to trust anyone--especially when they are related to your adversary.

Talia trusts no one. If she had it her way, she would take her son and run far away from everyone. But she knows she won't get far with her psychotic family after her. Going against her better judgment, she teams up with Gene to stop her families tyranny. As they begin to work together, Talia finds herself falling for the alpha. The thought of trusting Gene terrifies her, and she can't help but wonder if he will betray her too.

Action, suspense, emotion...Shaw brought it all. January 30, 2014
Being a paranormal book lover I was eager to read this book. I am usually more into the vamps, but these wolves did not disappoint! Action, suspense, emotion...Shaw brought it all. The characters won me over, & I enjoyed the battle scenes as much as the steamy ones. There is plenty of detail to keep this story interesting, & I can't wait to see what is to come. I will definitely be reading more by this author! ;*} *For adult audiences only*

Bethany Shaw has done it again.  ¿Into the Unknown (Werewolf War

Bethany Shaw has done it again.  ‘Into the Unknown (Werewolf Wars #2)’ is great.  The story of Gene and Talia both introduced in the first Werewolf Series book ‘Out of the Shadows’ are highlighted in this book.  The story shows how their relationship grows as they experience many challenges.  The balance of action and romance is excellent. Wanting to know what happens next, both with the action and the romance, kept me turning the pages.  Another positive about the story is the main characters from ‘Out of the Shadows’ and their relationship with Gene and Talia is a wonderful subplot.  Woven into the story is enough intrigue and excitement about what will happen next with the Werewolf Wars series that I am looking forward to June when the next installment in the series will be available.

She really did a great job with this novel. This story had a great storyline and followed through all the way till the end. I love how they continue off of each other. Natalia also known as Thalia which was a great nickname for her was a great character for this one. Happy for the way she finally opened up to people and started giving others a chance. Loved her as a mother. She was protective and great. She is also very loyal and kind. She developed with the storyline and made it better as it continued to progress. Gene was amazing the way he stepped in. He might not of wanted it but he took it in stride. I love how he was drawn to thalia and he took her in. He also developed with the storyline. He was protective of what is his and honored family above all things. This story was beautifully written. The characters were great for this novel. My favorite character when I was reading this novel not only the couples but Vincent. Love how he was so carefree and how funny he was at times. His personality fit right in with the story and the other characters. The way the novel was written helps you feel the emotions they go through and to understand them. Her books definitely keep you wanting more!!! If you love werewolves then you would love this!! I recommend everyone to try this series!!

Action packed entangled with a love story
The Second book of a series is a well written and extremely enjoyable book to read.  Some very originally story line Ideas in this book.
Lots of action throughout the book with a love story intertwined.  The wars progress to a fever pitched point, who will win?  Some very
emotional areas and an unexpected death.  Love the character interplay, very well done. The story does leave you wanting more and
to see how things will end in the werewolf wars. I was given a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This second book in the series could be read as a stand alone but please read the first one just for yourself as
you will appreciate this one much more as it takes up immediately after the end of Out of the Shadows, this story
focuses on Gene and Nathalia who was the pregnant werewolf that was rescued from Devon's stepfather. And
Gene who has become the Alpha of his pack since the death of his father Rick.
So be prepared for action adventure and sorrow, I have to admit that at one time I was in tears, this doesn't
happen to me all the time but the writing and the characters are so alive so that when something happens it
feels like it I'd happening to your best friends what can you do but join in with their joy or their pain.
It was wonderful to get to know Gene more, we had met him but he hadn't taken a central role, well he steps
up to the plate in this story and yes it's hit out of the field as once again we are caught up in not only action and
adventure but also romance, once again it is a slow get to know you, become friends, trust before moving into
more romance. Gene knows there is something there but there are also so many other things going on and
Thalia herself is so prickly but I love alpha's and Gene is a true alpha protective over those in his pack, loving
and sincere with those he loves but strong and tough with those who would endanger anyone under his
    protection.
Thalia has suffered so much watching her mother and the father of her baby be killed, by her relatives no less,
being traded, rescued and now she doesn't know what to think as she struggles to come to terms with the wolf
within and the other wolves she meets. Lark is the only one she trusts, and it is wonderful seeing Lark and
Devon back as well as some of our favourite from Out of the Shadows.
As well as Lark and Devon we meet again with Emily and Marcus, Vincent who hasn't changed, Daniel who
may have as well as Preston and Sarah and Claire, Devon's mother who no one is really sure of.
Once again we are left wanting more as this most definitely ends on a cliffhanger and someone who was once
an enemy but has grown into an ally is in trouble, I cannot wait to find out what happens in the next instalment
    of Werewolf Wars.
I received a free copy for an honest review.

Gene has had to take over as Alpha after his father was killed.

Gene has had to take over as Alpha after his father was killed. Now with a big war brewing, he and his cousin Devon, a neighboring Alpha, must try and rally other packs to protect their women from getting taken by the Gulf packs ran by a sadistic Alpha by the name of Fernando Juarez.
Juarez is after Natalia and her newborn son who Gene has under his protection. With an informant among the pack, tensions run high when they are always a step behind. Can the Alpha's prepare for this battle? Each side will suffer immeasurable losses and in the midst of the chaos, love will triumph through....but will it be enough?
I love this series! Bethany Shaw captivates you from beginning to end. Counting down the days until the next installment!
