    This really works!

    Janece Hudson's fascination for dreams is contagious. Once she had me hooked, she immediately engaged my curiosity. Each paragraph drew me in deeper. She talks about dreams in general, and then gives brief descriptions of several approaches to dream interpretation. As she delves into her own methods, she gives lots of examples and discusses not only the outcome but her methods of arriving at an individual's solution. She's a multi-published fiction writer, but I didn't expect the same rapport between author and reader to grow so easily in her nonfiction work.

    I was only on page 7 when I first thought, "this book is incredible!" I was eager to continue because I have three long-term recurring and disturbing dreams.

    By page 42, I'd discovered the meaning to dream #1-not fully clothed in front of people who shouldn't see me that way. My answer: I'm surprising myself in serendipitous and spontaneous ways. How it's affected me: It's exciting and I don't know what to expect next, but I'm looking forward to wonderful things.

    By page 122, I'd resolved dream #2-an apocalyptic scene where I'm in an armored tank outside a devastated town. My answer: It was really just a signal of a life transformation-a new discovery. How it's affected me: My life in the dream is not really dark and scary. In real life, I am on the brink of a great big change, and it's kind of scary.

    By page 135, I'd solved dream #3. It was a single disturbing flash of a dream in which I'm walking down a dark street in a big city with someone I don't know, feeling excited but guarded. My answer: I'm not alone. How it's affected me: I'm relieved, and think I'm in for a very exciting journey full of possibilities.

    The book is easy to read and understand. The concepts are so clear I can remember them without studying. By the end of the book, I felt like I was talking to a caring and wise friend, not reading a clinical text. Janece obviously cares about dreamers as well as dreams. And the book ends with a quick reference to which I can add my personal dream symbols. I loved this book!
