5.0 out of 5 star Review from D. B. Jackson
Great Book From A Master Story Teller,
October 3, 2013
Author John Duncklee is a magician with words. INTRIGUE ALONG THE BORDER is so skillfully written it seduces you into the story and the lives of its characters before you realize you are hooked. What makes this book particularly powerful is Duncklee's ability to write about the country and the border ranches he knows so well from his own personal experience there as a cowman. He knows the language, he knows the culture and, when he crafts the details of ranching and drug cartels and the ins and outs of both, it's hard to know where the fiction part begins and ends.

If you enjoy good, compelling fiction that is well-written and completely engaging, read INTRIGUE ALONG THE BORDER...it will be the best three bucks you've spent in a long time. I can't say enough good about this author and his work. See for yourself.
