Introducing...David Peaston

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Ron Wynn
David Peaston was one of gospel's most demonstrative, majestic talents while working with his family, which included his mother, Martha Bass, and sister, Fontella Bass. He acquired a national television following by dominating the weekly contests on the syndicated Showtime At The Apollo and then in 1989 made a huge impression with his debut album on Geffen. While it wasn't an enormous hit, it generated enough publicity and favorable response to get Peaston a spot as the opening act for Gladys Knight.

    All Around Awesome Album

This CD is one of the best showcase of talent I own. Daviud Peaston's voice is so full and rich, that each every song is charged. I wish there was music available by him. It is a mystery to me why this man has not become an international presence.
