Francis D.K. Ching is Professor Emeritus of Architectureat the University of Washington and a registered architect. He isthe author or coauthor of numerous architecture and design books,including Architectural Graphics; Building ConstructionIllustrated; Architecture: Form, Space, and Order; A VisualDictionary of Architecture; A Global History of Architecture;Interior Design Illustrated; and Design Drawing.

James F. Eckler is the Architecture Program Director ofthe Marywood University School of Architecture.     Very nice introduction!

    This book has all of the basics of architecture in a straightforward, no pain layout and is an enjoyable read.
