Thank you for considering my book, Introduction to PowerPoint. Students or newly-hired professionals who are looking for guidelines for the preparation of effective technical presentations will find this book useful. It contains a concise summary of the most useful features of PowerPoint 97, as well as instructions for adding graphics from other applications to a static PowerPoint presentation. Numerous examples of slides containing material from applications such as AutoCAD and Mathematica; scanned images, and the Web are included; and instructions for manipulating such images using Microsoft Photo Editor are provided. The final chapter of the book was written as a step-by-step 'how to' guide for preparing a presentation. It contains advice on what (and how much) material should be included in an oral presentation and on how to prepare for and deal with problems that may crop up while giving a presentation. Although written using PowerPoint 97, the information in this book can be used successfully by PowerPoint 2000 users. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
