Overview

Intuition: A Bonus Intangible short story, an introduction to the highly rated Intangible Series. An enthralling glimpse into the Intangible world by an "author [who] has a way with words that just pulls you into the story and holds you there until the very last word, and even then you just do not want to be let go" (Shelly Hammond).

Luke and his twin sister Sera have unusual abilities. Hers is a gift--she can heal with a touch of her hand. His is a curse--he can see the future but he can't do anything about it.

On a hike up the mountain, Luke has a vision unlike any other--one that leaves him terrified. Knowing that it will come true--and that he must do everything in his power to stop it--leaves his own future uncertain.

(This is a short story, and approximately 16 pages long.)

Intangible (Book One), Imaginable (Book Two), and Indomitable (an Intangible novella) are available now. Book Three coming late 2015.

Let me just first say that I didn't realize that this bonus story actually took place prior to the story in Intangible. Had I thought to check when they were published, I might have known to read this before reading Intangible, but as it was, I didn't. So, if interested in this series, be sure to read this story first! Intuition seems to take place not long before the story in Intangible. You have 17 year old twins, Luke and Sera Raine, who are Gifted. Sera can heal with the touch of her hands and Luke can see the future. At the beginning of the book they set out to go hiking, which has become almost a ritual for them ... a way to escape and relax from their everyday lives. Since this story is really rather short, I can't say much about the storyline as that would spoil everything. But the events that occur in this story are referenced in Intangible. One briefly but the other is a major story point, though if you've read the synopsis for Intangible, you can probably guess. :) So again, read Intuition first if you want to start this series! I'm finding it hard to rate this short story. I think that I might have enjoyed it more had I read it first because, as I've mentioned, what is in this story is referenced in Intangible. So there wasn't really anything new, just an expanded story that you only got a quick bit of info on within the pages of Intangible. It is, of course, well written and interesting none-the-less.

Intuition is a prequel for the new series to be released in January of 2012. Very surprisingly this does not preview a romance, but carries all of the dramatics of a story about love. Only the love that shines in this short story is of a twin; a brother and sister with some very unique abilities. While their heritage still remains a mystery it is obvious that there is much more to this enticing story. Meyers splendidly grabs the readers attention; their lingering questions will beg them to continue and jump immediately into Intangible.

This is a 51 page teaser that gives us a chance to get to know the characters and author's writing style. I really enjoyed this sneak peak into the characters and world of Intangible. Absolutely pick this one up ...it's free... but beware, you will immediately want to get Intangible after reading it! See more of my reviews on my blog, Known to Read :)

This book was crazy awesome. Now look at the cover of Intangible and then if you have it look at the cover of the book Glimpse it is the other half of the girls face! If you do not have Glimpse I strongly recomend that book, it wasone of the best books I have ever read and it is free!

Luke and his sister Sera went to climb Mount Mansfield in Vermont on a fall day. Luke had looked up the mountain and saw a man at the top. He was going after him. The guy had hurt his knee. They had gotten to the man and she healed it. Luke and Sera reached the top of the mountain and a beautiful view of Vermont. I enjoyed reading this novel. ShelleyMA
