Meet the Author

The spotlight on Rumiko Takahashi's career began in 1978 when she won an honorable mention in Shogakukan's annual New Comic Artist Contest for Those Selfish Aliens. Later that same year, her boy-meets-alien comedy series, Urusei Yatsura, was serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday. This phenomenally successful manga series was adapted into anime format and spawned a TV series and half a dozen theatrical-release movies, all incredibly popular in their own right. Takahashi followed up the success of her debut series with one blockbuster hit after another—Maison Ikkoku ran from 1980 to 1987, Ranma 1/2 from 1987 to 1996, and Inuyasha from 1996 to 2008. Other notable works include Mermaid Saga, Rumic Theater, and One-Pound Gospel. Takahashi won the Shogakukan Manga Award twice in her career, once for Urusei Yatsura in 1981 and the second time for Inuyasha in 2002. A majority of the Takahashi canon has been adapted into other media such as anime, live-action TV series, and film."

#17 synopsis (is a great book)

Since there isn't a synopsis above, I will tell you what #17 is about from the back of the book. Sessho-Maru's quest to gain a new blade from an evil swordsmith has backfired- the vengeful soul of Goshinki, another of Naraku's demonic 'offspring,' lives on in the blade. Can Inu-Yasha with his newly restored Tetsusaiga take on this evil to beter use the power of his father's great fang? Also, another demon is made from Naraku and the fight with it is to be continued in #18. Of course it leaves you frustraited because it stops at a really good part. Since I haven't gotten #18 I have to wait. Darn it!!

    Inu Yasha Days

Reading this volume and all the others (except 18 i haven't read it yet) made me feel as though i was there in the book itself. I've made up characters myself and tried to make a comice, but i can't quite do that. Other than Inu Yasha my favorite charri is Koga. I've always have loved wolves and made wolf charris. The wolves i've made up are Kuro and Kokuryu. Some of the older wolf charris i made are Wolf Spirit, Twilight and good old Blaze. Kuro and Kokuryu are my most recent made up, Kuro is like a half demon wolf and Kokuryu well he is still my favorite wolf. Well about Inu Yasha i read each book over and over, because the feeling of seeming to be with Mirako (sry if i spell something wrong), Shippo, Sango, Kagome, and Inu Yasha, makes me feel like i'm in a whole different world. I'd love it if one of my carris were in the book it would be great. See ya all

Inuyasha is the absolutely the best thing thst has happened in Anime. The book has action, humor, and a little bit of romance. I definitley reccomend to watch Inuyasha the show on Cartoon Network on Saturday nights.
