Overview

Available in hardcover and paperback from IUniverse.com and other online book sellers.

From the inside flap:

The demise of America, as it was to be known throughout the world, draws near. America's enemies have spent years gathering arms, training and infiltrating our land. The invasion arrives on a warm summer evening-with no forewarning and no mercy. The terrorists don't descriminate between young and old, and their attacks are well-thought-out and extremely vicious.

Standing between them and victory is Abraham Dewalt Nicholson, the first African American president in history. Can Nicholson devise an effective strategy to save the country in time? If there is to be any hope of stopping the ongoing attacks, he must set aside his disdain for the military war machine and find a way to defeat an enemy that has no traditional army and no political leadership with which to negotiate a ceasefire.

Invasion America! leaves little doubt that our country is in danger and that our enemies can-and likely will-strike.

From the back cover:

The invasion of America was easy.
There were no amphibious landings; no paratroopers fell from the sky.
They numbered not in the thousands, but tens of thousands.
We worked with them, trusted them, loved them.
Behind their serene exteriors beat hearts filled with hatred. The death of every American, young and old, was their goal.
We made it easy for them.

If you strike their cities, their strength will be exhausted and their spirits will break!”—Sun-tzu, The Art of War

From Chapter Thirty-two:

Nicholson turned up the volume so he could hear the reporter, "Early figures
indicate more than four thousand seven hundred have already been confirmed dead
from yesterday's attacks. That estimate includes a little over forty-one hundred that were on the planes and close to five hundred others on the ground when the planes were brought down. Those figures do not include unknown thousands that have sustained life-altering injuries or the countless others still missing and presumed dead. "Government officials have been very tight lipped concerning where they believe the terrorists may have appropriated the more than fifty missiles they used to target the nearly three-dozen passenger aircraft. Our military advisors have stated emphatically the weapons are Stinger missiles and are equally convinced they must be part of the allotment the United States gave to Afghan freedom-fighters during their war with the Soviets back in the eighties. How they managed to smuggle those weapons onto the US mainland is still a mystery. What is most frightening is what if they have more? And what else do the terrorists have in store for us?"

Customer reviews from Amazon.com:

The major point in this book,it was written over five years ago and most of what the author predicted would happen, happened except for the outright multiple attacks. I wont go over each detail but suffice it to say you need to read this book and take note the projections and theories are right on. We as an American society have tip toed around political correctness for 50 years. It can and might be our demise not the enemies already here. We as a country have got to get back to the basics and take care of our own. Mr. Wing takes his time to state the facts but does so as an author telling a story to keep us enthralled. I read the book in one day and could not put it down because it states what is happening right now and it states it five years ago. This is a must read and hopefully wakes up some people, unfortunately I doubt it cause we are all too comfortable in our own little worlds and homes. If this book were made into a movie it would not only sell out but would cause demonstrations all over the US from our Muslim brothers who worship the Koran. By Richard E. Heaton "Rich"

This is a real eye opener. There were times when I put the book down and wondered if I were capable of protecting my family in situations like this. What a nightmare. This should be required reading for young adults but unfortunately its too politically incorrect. And the author is dead on right about political correctness and the cancerous effect it is having on our safety and the future of the republic.By DStiers

I finished this book in two days, I could not put it down. Frightening is the best description I can come up with, as this book is so real. While some targets were a little far out, overall this is most likely the next step in terror. My only complaint is we were left hanging at the end, does this mean a sequal? Everyone should read this story and take what they can from it- in this day and age it is only a matter of time, or is it? By Julie Anna Dostal

    Will shake your very soul!

I bought this book after the cover graphics drew me in! Boy I didn¿t know what I was getting. Mr. Wing has written a novel like no other and it is truly frightening! The book explores what might happen if all of our worse fears regarding terrorists attacks on US soil were to be carried out. In this book, terrorist hit out beloved nation across the board like a Juggernaut! Mr. Wing speaks about the demise of the #2 leader of al-Qaeda being taken out in US raid. He writes that the Republicans would be voted from office in a landslide election. He wrote that oil prices would surpass $75 a barrel due to huge hurricanes in the Gulf of Mexico. Being the book was published last year and knowing that the publishing process takes time, this is truly amazing foretelling in my opinion. If one reads closely, they will find other tidbits of true events occurring after the book was written. What I found interesting was late in 2005 a married terrorist couple from Jordan, the first married terrorist couple on record, walked into a hotel wedding reception and ignited bombs. How does this relate to Mr. Wing's book you might ask? Well, the antagonists in the first half of Invasion America just happen to be a Jordanian married couple hiding here in the US. Coincidence? Or is something more going on here? This book is not the usual, 'Bad guys attack and the hero saves the day.' If that is what you want, then don¿t waste your time. If, however, you want to read something entirely different that will shake your very soul and open you eyes to how truly vulnerable we are, then make Invasion America the next book you read. I promise you will not look at national security the same ever again. This novel is truly action packed from beginning to end and the author doesn't simply blow something up, he walks you very visually through the entire event. It left me feeling as if I had just read a movie. Furthermore, unlike a lot of novels these days, the author obviously wasn't concerned with the length of the novel because he didn't take the time to pad the book with a lot un-needed filler. Although, at over 340 pages it is a lengthy read. If you're considering purchasing a book as a Christmas present for someone special this holiday season, then forget the authors you know and give this new guy a try. I promise, you will not be disappointed.

A WAKE UP CALL FOR US ALL

Absolutely gripping! While this is a novel, the real terror is in how simple it is for this story to become reality. It's entirely plausable and probable. Read this and you will not question the necessity of any government spying on our emails or phone calls. You'll be begging for it. Read this, if you dare, and see what the terrorist want for us. Read this and know how vunerable we really are. Kuddos, Mr. Alan. Alfred Hitchcock would have me squirming in my seat but you, sir, have kept me there holding its edge and my breath. Invasion America! should be required reading for every citizen and especially those charged with our safety and security. Lynne Smith, Monroe, North Carolina

The most gripping story I've read in years!!!

This book grabs you from the first page and doesn't let go for the duration! It is an edge-of-your-seat page turner that will scare you, make you angry, make you check your windows at night and certainly be more aware of what goes on around you. I don't look at anything in my community the same way I did before reading this book! I have read many books, by well-known authors, that claim to be action-packed, but this one definitely delivers the goods. An absolute MUST-READ!!

Puts you on the edge of your seat and keeps you there throughout. Should be required reading for all...especially our elected officials and anyone charged with protecting the citizens of this country.
