It's the first week of summer break for my kids and its raining outside. I promised my kids we'd have some reading time and I bought this book for my 7 year old to read on my nook. There is a major shortage of early chapter readers that actually work right on the nook and this one is PERFECT! In addition to that, the book is totally fun and exciting. The illustrations are beautiful and there is at least one on every page. My 7 year old daughter read it aloud to my 5 year old son and both of them say they can't wait for the next volume.

This book is a lot of fun. The characters are very cute and I love how they focus on solving problems. The science experiment in the back is pretty fun too. I even learned something about buoyancy myself.

It’s about a little girl, Anne, who loves mysteries. She reads all the mystery books she can find. When her mother's birthday gift goes missing, Anne comes to the rescue! Readers will love following the clues with Anne as she searches for the gift and the answer to the mystery. Anne shows us that we don’t have to be famous detectives to be helpful. We can use our sleuthing skills to solve mysteries here in the real world.
The Investigator Anne series is fabulous because the author incorporates science and deductive reasoning into the story as Anne and her friends try to solve the mystery. As a teacher and a parent, this is special because it demonstrates to the young reader how the things they are learning can be used in real life to fix tough situations. It also encourages kids to be helpful, something many children naturally desire.

my son thinks this book is so much fun. I like it because there aren't any brats in it and the kids are nice to each other. We need more books like this one.

My favorite part is that Anne is nice. I liked that I can read it all by myself.

We really enjoyed this book. It was easy enough for my 2nd grader to read without trouble and it has some challenge words with a glossary. Very Nice!

This is a great book. The characters are all so sweet and the illustrations are wonderful. I love how the kids in the book have a real concern for each other instead of this bratty talking back attitude. They are great role models for kids. The story is fun too and I like the mild focus on science and vocabulary. Very well done!

We loved this book! I read it to 4 of my grandchildren, ages 3 years to 10 years and they all enjoyed it and were excited to see all the illustrations on each page. We loved the glossary at the end and also the science experiment. This is going to be a great series. Thank you.

The words are too small and a little fuzzy. It is not worth it if you have to strain to read each page. I couldn't even enlarge the page. Maybe if they work on these things the book could be enjoyable.

My daughter just got this to read over Spring Break. She absolutely loved it. She finished it over a few days and just bought the second one, "Investigator Anne-Sneaky Sneakers." She loves the science experiments at the end, and she started to make her own investigator kit. We're hooked! We want more asap! :)

This book seems like a really cute book. It is very hard for my daughter to read as the writing is SO small she can barely see it. I am very disappointed in this book. Only good thing is that it was cheap!

The book is great and my daughter is loving it... but the font size is quite small and not adjustable. :( Hard to read for a child with glasses, and hard to peek over at to help with troublesome words.

My kids loved reading this book and the pictures are so cute. i can't wait for the next one to come out. The science experiment was a little difficult to read at the end, but we did it and it was fun. My kids loved dumping salt into the big bin of water.
