    Beautiful Science!

I love this book and have purchased copies for my grandchildren, nieces and nephews, not to mention a few of my friend's families at Christmas. It is a book that hits the spot. As a grandparent I like gifts to do double duty by entertaining while teaching at the same time, and The Invisible ABC's does just that. If I read it to toddlers, we read the alphabet, I mean microbes, and look at each visually rich page. If one reads the information about the microbes, then even a non-science adult can be intrigued at this invisible world. This book has an associated website for further discovery.

I also gave copies of this book in my grandsons' names to their school library. This is a worthy keeper, not to be confused with the many cutesy, but not so scholarly books we have to sort through these days.
