Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher

The Wapsipinicon Almanac Spring 2007

“A good book, even a compelling book … I recommend it. Why? Simply put, there are few books geared toward the beginner with a serious interest in learning about the night sky. This is for those who want to learn quickly about the science of astronomy, learn about celestial objects visible in a backyard telescope and learn to choose and enjoy this instrument. Iowa StarWatch nicely addresses such an audience of beginners and blends a rich offering of gorgeous photos with plenty of information presented in a logical manner.”
