Although I am a long-time iMac user, I was new to the iPhone. I was immediately able to use it as a basic phone, but not having a teenager handy, was having difficulty taking advantages of all of the many other features available. Using this book, I was able to greatly expand my use of the phone. While my phone is a 3GS, I am able to become comfortable with its use and will soon upgrade to the iPhone 4GS (or whatever might be the current version at that time.

Well written informative. I refer to this book often and have found new easy ways to do things. A very good how to guide for the I phone 3GS
By the way altough I love my I phone 3GS, Is anyone else having serious problems keeping the battery charged? I have backup batteries but unless connected to a power source constantly the power goes down very rapidly. If I fully charge the phone and do not use it at all, by the time I leave work the battery is completely dead. Anyone else have this problem?

If you are a Mac person the new iPhone 3s will not be hard to use bring a lot of the intuitive features of all Macs. But, like all Apple products there is always more than meets the eye and this book is a great help in finding the little things that make the use of the iPhone even better.
If you are a windows person the book will help you understand the idea of simplicity that is Apple.
A good investment for anyone new to the iPhone or that would like to dig around a bit more.
There is a lot of really basic stuff but worth the time to find the good stuff.
