Ira is excited-he's going to sleep over at a friend's house for the very first time! His sister puts a damper on things by reminding Ira about the teddy bear he always sleeps with. What should Ira do? He can't sleep without Tah Tah, but his friend Reggie will laugh if he brings him. Finally, Ira decides to leave his bear behind, but gets a big surprise when the lights go out!

From day one (about 15 years ago) I have adored this story. What child doesn't have some sort of blankey or teddy bear secretly stashed away beneath their pillow at night? Even some adults do! This is an endearing story with pleasant, funny illustrations that will appeal to children of all ages - even those in their 30s.
