Ireland and Northern Ireland

Before I went to Ireland, I saw many documentaries and movies about this beautiful country. I was anxious to go and visit a pub and be with the locals. I don’t drink, never have, but I felt I wanted to go to a pub and experience that atmosphere in a country famous for its beers.

Lo and behold, the day came and I was in Dublin. I knew I was going to like Ireland since I knew that it was a very green country. What I didn’t know was that I would love it almost instantly.

Dublin is a city that, in my opinion, is proud to hold the attitude of a village. Walking around we were able to see small stores and many restaurants as well.
The downtown area is easy to explore. In one restaurant in particular, the waiter made us feel welcome. He was a very nice young man; his attitude gave a great feeling to the whole place. We heard a conversation between two locals and it is true that Dubliners are extraordinary narrators.
