Ireland Forever

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Steve Huey
Ireland Forever is a collection of traditional Irish ballads mixed with compositions by American songwriters that have a more modern sensibility yet fit the other selections' traditional musical style. There are other Irish compilations available which concentrate more on just one side of that equation and thus have a bit more unity, but the performances on this one are pretty good all around, featuring singers like Dennis Day, Phil Regan, Leo McCaffrey, and even a pre-TV-stardom Merv Griffin.
