Booknews
Researchers and scholars of history and political science contribute to the ongoing debate on post-revolutionary settlement in independent Ireland. Themes discussed in the volume's ten chapters include the nature of party mobilization and the development of foreign and economic policy within the context of Anglo-Irish and Commonwealth relations, as well as those who are less successful within the new order: the pre-revolutionary unionists and nationalist elites, as well as advocates of Catholic Action and social republicanism.
