Overview

"A strong consideration for anyone planning a vacation or business trip to Ireland."
-James A. Cox, The Midwest Book Review

After kissing the Blarney Stone and visiting the Giant's Causeway, you need a place to stay. With this handy guide, which includes more than 150 listings and descriptions, the best bed and breakfasts in the Emerald Isle are at your fingertips.

This detailed guide to the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland includes descriptions of all types of bed and breakfasts, from family run O'Leary's farmhouse with sea views in County Cork to Moyglare Manor Hotel's delicious cuisine in County Kildare. Authors Elsie Dillard and Susan Causin note the prices, number of rooms, and available months for each listing. They describe each lodging in careful detail, including its history, ambiance, and owners. Directions to each location are also provided.

Bed and breakfasts such as the Griffith House were built at the turn of the century, whilst others, such as Loughcrew House, have been family owned for more than four hundred years. Whether you want luxurious or simple accommodations in Ireland, The Irish Bed & Breakfast Book will make any visit to this magical island as pleasurable and unforgettable as possible.
