Good as Irish cuisine goes. From someone used to Creole/Cajun food, this is a compliment. Different cuisine does not mean bad cuisine...just different. Recommend the cookbook.

I've made 4 dishes from this cookbook already and they were all delicious! Our new family favorite is the chocolate Irish Cheesecake - yum! It's a no-bake cheesecake and it was very easy to prepare with 5- star restaurant results! We also really enjoyed the beef stew with Guinness.
