If you have a regular Irish cookbook that includes desserts selections or even a regular American all purpose cookbook, you will find nothing new here. The so called 'Irish' desserts did not seem unique to me except in the case of a couple of soda bread recipes and some unique 'pudding' recipes that called for bread crumbs. Also, author calls for in every recipe the use of Jerrygold (or something of that name) butter. She does not say whether you can substitute good ol' Land o Lakes unsalted sweet butter (American). Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
