Iron Bonds (Legend of the Iron Flower, #3) by Billy Wong

Rose, Finn and Derrick are back in the third installment of the Legend of the Flower series. Rose and friends must battle Joghra and
Fiona to protect their homeland. Also the story takes a dramatic turn and Rose is faced with new decisions in her life.Action packed,
dramatic adventure. More twists, turns and shocking events occur in this book. I was so hooked I could not put it down until the last
page. I am looking forward to reading book four Iron Tears.

Rose and company set forth to battle evil throughout this book.

Rose and company set forth to battle evil throughout this book. They also have their regular lives to contend with.

While their are references to previous characters and battles not found in this book, it is possible to read and enjoy this as a stand alone tale.

Most of the battles are thoroughly described while not being overly gory.

The story narrative primarily follows Rose who not only has the external battles but internal turmoils as well which adds depth to her character.

    Overall an action packed read.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

Finn is faced with the responsibility that comes with being the first and only mage of the modern world. With a king expecting results, and enemies trying to invade their borders, he is pressed for time to master the art of spell casting. The pressure is only heightened when his love, Rose, decides to join the soldiers on the battleground. With the help of his friend, Derrick, he strives to find a way to fulfill his duties and protect the love of his life.

Rose can’t sit while men are dying. Although she doesn’t like leaving the man she loves behind, the fate of countless lives could depend on her. Determined and ready for action, she and her friend, Loreen, join the men in combat. Much to her dismay, however, she and her comrades find themselves outnumbered with no reinforcements in sight.

This is an exhilarating novel that’s well written, dramatic, and absolutely addictive. The flow was constant and the storyline was easy to understand. A perfect addition to the genre!
