Don Doxsie has been a sportswriter in Iowa and Illinois for 33 years and is currently the assistant managing editor for sports of the Quad-City Times in Davenport, Iowa. Doxsie has won numerous state and national awards, including first place for enterprise reporting from the Associated Press Sports Editors in 2000.
