    Dear Anonymous/ x2 stars/ For Teens,
Thank you for your comment, I take it as nothing more than constructive criticism =) I always appreciate an opportunity to improve! Now that Iron & Wine is set to be available in paperback I will look more closely at the grammar.

    Sincerely,
Candace Osmond, author of Iron & Wine

In all fairness, this chick is an idependant author. According to her website she has no technical training in writing, her experience is with design. I read the book, yes there are grammar mistakes, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I will read the next one and anything else this girl writes. It's not the writing that draws you in it's the imagination she uses.

    Dear author,
While I enjoyed this book enough to finish it, I highly recommend you spend more time editting it. The constant conflict of verb tenses and inappropriare punctuation detracted from my enjoyment of the book. Better luck next time.

An interesting story and take on the whole faeries, vampires, werewolves thing. I really enjoyed this book. There were a few grammar and spelling errors but not enough to distract me from the story line. I can't wait to read the next book.

Not a bad first attempt.  The book is in need of a good editor to fix the grammar and continuity. In lieu of an editor, having a few people from a writer's workshop look it over would also be helpful.
This is definitely a book for teens rather than older readers.  I couldn't personally make it past page 130 due to some of the odd phrasing and grammar.  This seems more like a rough draft than a final copy to me.

Now, with all that said, I believe the book has promise, and could be an entertaining read for younger readers.
