Meghan Chase is finally getting used to being the Iron Queen, ruler of the Iron Fey. Her life may be strange, but with former Winter prince Ash by her side at last, she wouldn't have it any other way.
But when they travel to the Summer and Winter courts' gathering for Elysium, the oracle from Meghan's past returns with a dire prophecy: "What you carry will either unite the courts, or it will destroy them."
Now Meghan faces a devastating choice that may determine the future of all fey—and her and Ash's unborn child….
A novella from Julie Kagawa's bestselling Iron Fey series.

It was the perfect short story to move from Meaghan's stories into Ethan's. It was great to return to Nevernever and meet up with the old characters. I can't wait for everything to continue!

The Iron Prophecy was a great, short conclusion/cliff hanger to Meghan's troubles, as the next story, The Lost Prince, shifts to Ethan's point of view. I am honestly thrilled Julia is continuing the series! I loved reading the Iron Fey books and I hope she comes out with more! :)

Way to short even for a novella. Not worth the $0.99. Not much of a story.

Such a good novella. Just what I wanted! I couldn't help after reading the whole Iron Fey Series but wonder what was life like for Megan and Ash after he became "human" and she became the iron queen. I hated the hanger, only because I wanted to read more. I am super excited that Julie has and will have put out the fist book of a sequel series about Ethan Chase, called The Lost Prince! I love all of Julie's work!!:)

Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.I was really excited when I found out there was going to be another novella set AFTER the story. And as I was reading I was so happy with the start of the story, but then it just ended. I mean, it was crazy high storyline and then it was over. Meghan risked severe consequences to find out something, it freaks her out, and within .... what two pages, it's okay I'm fine. Book over. The ending was AWFUL. While I am looking forward to reading the Lost Prince, I seriously doubt there will be anything in there that will pick up about Meghan's storyline. There is will be a huge gap of unanswered questions between that time frame.

I read all the other ones so I had to read this one. The whole series was okay for me. Not fantastic but descent. I wouldn't ever read it again but only because there are a lot of better books out there. once I started reading I didn't stop because they were interesting enough.

I love the series and this short story. I wanted to know the end of Ash & Meghans story but, the end made it seem like there should be more from them two in the next book. I loved the story but the end for Meghan & Ash could have been wrapped up better.

First of all, I love this series. Julie Kagawa knows how to write a book people, and if you don't like the book, go complain somewhere else! I can't WAIT to get The Lost Prince! If you haven't read the series before, get reading! It's an amazing series, filled with action, suspense, magic, and most importantly romance!!!! ;) ~Isabelle Joski
