    Fast and focused: the three-second sale method

    Marketing and sales professionals are familiar with such concepts as developing a unique selling proposition, applying risk reduction techniques, encouraging word-of-mouth marketing and using advertising to outline 'benefits' rather than selling 'features.' Author and Internet marketing expert Mark Joyner realigns these principles and makes them secondary to constructing 'The Irresistible Offer' ¿ defined as a sales offer so concise and powerful it immediately achieves every marketing objective. The irresistible offer is made up of a 'high return on investment,' a 'touchstone' (that is, a great slogan) and 'believability.' Individually, these concepts are not new, but when they are assembled correctly, they are enticing. Joyner has not discovered fresh ingredients for making a sale, but he has cooked up a tasty recipe. We recommend this pithy, accessible book to salespeople who want to add creative juice and flavor to the standard pitch.

    Can TIO Give Your Marketing the TKO it needs for Success?

    In The Irresistible Offer, not only does Mark Joyner give step-by-step instructions on how to create powerful offers that allow you to outshine your competitors, but the real gemstone is that he tells you how to craft mind-blowing offers never before seen that scare the competition completely out of the race. If you¿re someone who thinks you could never sell anything to anyone, as I once did, the only way you can fail after reading this brilliant but down-to-earth marketing cornucopia is if you do absolutely nothing.

    More Than Just Marketing

    'Mark Joyner claims that The Irresistible Offer has application that stretched well beyond the bounds of marketing and advertising, touching 'almost every aspect of your life to great effect'. I absolutely agree. I read this book from my point of view as a member of the clergy and immediately saw relevance to the development of more effective sermons, fund-raising letters, and even outreach campaigns. 'The amazing little book ought to be required reading for any advertising executives, politicians marketers, or even clergy before they engage in any types of promotional campaigns. 'Mark understands that making a sale is a relatively easy thing to do once you learn a certain set of skills. Your typical bookstore has shelves filled with books and audios that teach the psychology and skills that should be employed to convince people to send you their hard earned cash in exchange for whatever you are selling. 'Where this book differs from most is that is teaches something exceedingly more important than simply making a sale. It teaches how to make the second sale - or how to turn one-time buyers into on ongoing flow of repeat business. That requires more than slick manipulative words on a piece or paper or a website. It requires understanding that each potential sale represents a person with needs which they thirst to have met. When an offer truly satisfies that thirst the result with be a steady stream of repeat business, not to mention the ability to sleep guilt-free at night because you are actually helping people, not just fooling them into sending you money. 'At the core of this book, then, you will see a reversal of perspective when it comes to looking at the sales process. It's not about what the advertiser wants, but what the customer needs. Mark makes that wonderfully clear when he writes about the ROI (Return on Investment). Typically, in marketing, the ROI refers to the profits earned over and against the cost of an advertising campaign. In this book the ROI has to do with providing the customer with a high return for his/her investment in the acquisition of your product. What a wonderfully refreshing perspective!'
