In my years of working with female clients on nutrition and weight loss I can tell you that not addressing hormone health is like treating a broken leg by putting a splint on your left ring finger. Marcelle Pick , M.S.N., OB?GYN NP, explains in this book how if one hormone is slightly out of balance in the female system it will set off a symphony of imbalance throughout the body. Our endocrine system is a delicate balance that requires understanding and attention. I loved this book and highly recommend it to all women. There is a 28 day hormone balancing diet plan within the book, and although the recipes included are quite simplistic it is a great guideline to begin to understand how food and lifestyle factors affect hormone health.
