Meet the Author

Growing up as Kennie was never a easy thing to do, he always had trouble making friends since he was more of a shy person than anything. As time past and he got into high school he began to get bullied and harassed.

Which lead him to writing poetry to vent his frustrations and have his own personal outlet from the world that surrounds him. High School got progressively worse, to the point of him dropping out. His home life was never anything great either he never got along with either of his parents or any of his siblings.

In October 2005 just a few days after his birthday he began to talk to whom would later become his fiancee which as you could imagine brought much joy to Kennie's life, but in December of that year it brought pain as his father was killed in a car accident.

Through many of his life's trials and tribulations he continues to write.

Yes these poems show what clinical depression feels like. My dad is dying now and I think I will miss him forever. I am sorry that yours died in 2005 Kennie. Some things we really don't just "get over it". There is no timetable for grief. We are much more than our problems and I believe in you.

This book is a good book it may bw ahort but still it really shows you how deprwssion feela like i hope kenny feels betterabout his dad dieing. Also i like to say to those of you who say this book is a waste of rime you must have never know what being depressed feels like because its not like itast one day and een if you get over it it will atill come back. I remeber when my grandpa died it hurt me and my family and to rhis day me and my sisters still cry about it so thats all i have to say this is a really good book and who ever is reading this should read this book.
