Islam For Dummies

Overview

Many non-Muslims have no idea that Muslims worship the same God as Christians and Jews, and that Islam preaches compassion, charity, humility, and the brotherhood of man. And the similarities don’t end there. According to Islamic teaching, Muhammad founded Islam in 610 CE after the angel Gabriel appeared to him at Mecca and told him that God had entered him among the ranks of such great biblical prophets as Abraham, Moses, and Christ.

I Learned SO much from this book.

I thought it was absolutely necessary to learn about Islam. Not only because I have a serious relationship with a Muslim man, but because I have struggled to find understanding with my own Abrahamic religious belief. This book discusses Islam, Christianity, and Judaism, often comparing and contrasting among each. I loved it and I have a new respect and love for Islam.

    Great!

This book offers an educational, friendly introduction into Islam. I like how the author encourages reader interaction with the text. This book is a must for anybody interested in learning more about one of the three Abrahamic religions.
