Like afew other reviewers I am extremely fond of these characters but the woman are a little lacking. This series is addicting.

    Good job!

Great plot lines...good story telling....interesting characters tho the women especially seem pretty one dimensional. Male characters much better developed while females in general are shallow. With better character development you could be on par with sherri tepper and nancy kress....and hopefully you are on your way. Let your women be strong and smart as most women truly are....

I don't normally go in much for this genre but boy am I glad I read this. I can't wait to get on to her Zambito's other books. The characters, plot and writing are beautifully constructed, and this pace is absolutely thrilling. I'd recommend this to EVERYBODY.

Oh Valerie, you've done it again! Two nights! That is how long it took me to read- it would've been one, but I didn't get to pick up until late the first one and read until 7 in the morning... only til 2 the next to finish!

The story is AMAZING. Just like the first one. You want to know what happens, you HAVE to know what happens. The characters become part of you! And little Kenley! Wow! I feel like the character is not as young as she's supposed to be... maybe because she's a shifter? I LOVE her! She's a kick ass little kid! Can I have a Draca Cat? Please! I promise to take good care of it!

This is a series for everyone. Love fantasy? Love magic? Love defending the world from Evil? Love romance? What about learning tolerance? This book has it all!

The characters are super developed and rememberable, the storyline is developed and thought out. You can tell that Valerie has put part of her very soul into the words. It is a MUST read.

VALERIE PLEASE WRITE FASTER! I have to know what happens next!!!
