    Like

I like humor in a romance story. That's why I tried this author. I was very disappointed. It was not funny, did not even have a good story. She was a wimp who could not stand up to her father. He was not very likeable. Will not read more by this author.

    Cute!

This tale is a connecting storyline to Fisher's "All I Ever Wanted". Actor Kipling Stanton has moved to Swift Creek, Virginia in part to be closer to his younger sister Chris, who is attending university nearby, and also to try and hide from the stardom and notoriety of Hollywood. Swift Creek, Virginia is also the home of Max Sinclair (All I Ever Wanted), the author of the "Farthest Space" books in which Kip Stanton starred as the character Capt. Steven T. McNeill in the television series based on his books. Just after moving in to his new home, Kip meets his attractive neighbor Cody Lang in the driveway and within minutes is agreeing to participate in her crazy scheme to help cover up a lie she told her father. She told her father she was married and has recruited Kip to play the part. Cody doesn't recognize her famous neighbor and unfortunately for Kip, Cody's best friend and employee Tiffani Harshaw is a huge fan of the "Farthest Space" books and television show. Tiffani also happens to be the sister-in-law of Max Sinclair. I loved the chemistry between Kip and Cody and often found Kips attempts at trying to play a part in Cody's plan hysterical while falling in love with Cody and trying to maintain his anonymity.
