The following essay was written and delivered as part of the “Atlanta Series” during the week of June 18, 1967 just eight days after the 6-Day War. I need to say also that additional material has been added to make this paper current and relevant to today’s reader.
(Written in 1967) "The Six-Day War we have just witnessed this past week has been fought the 5th of June through the 10th of June. Six Days! The Israelis have defended this war as a preventative military effort to counter what they, the Israelis saw as an impending attack by Arab nations surrounding them. As we have seen of this War, after considerable aggression from its neighbors, it has been initiated by General Moshe Dayan, the Israeli’s Defense Minister."
About one half of this essay deals with the ramifications of the 1967 War. Learn more about Israel as a Nation and God's plan for them as a people.
One of 'The Atlanta Series'.... is compilation of Christian essays delivered in the years 1962-1970 before a number of different assemblies of Christian people who were looking for a closer walk with the Lord. These essays cover hundreds of different subjects and they have just recently been released in a digital form so that they might be shared with you the reader.
