    Excellent!

Really enjoyable read with a big twist at the end that I didn't see coming. Very professionally written unlike some free books. My only criticism is that it was too short, although no words were wasted in the tale. Will read more of this author. Recommended.

I just read JD Hughes other two books and this one is no disappointment. If anything it is even more quirky but really well written and very, very dark! It reminds me of one of Stephen Kings short stories. If I have a complaint its that it was too short and I wanted to know what happened to the wife, but I'm known for being greedy!

    different

Have read and enjoyed, in one form or another, all 3 of this author's books that are currently available. They are definitely different, and I liked how short they are. I don't think I would want to spend even a few days with any of them, but I am glad I read them.

This was a great short story about 30ish pgs. It has a couple of nice twists that I don't think many readers will see coming. This is a dark story about 2 people trying to find "love".

    Wow

This is the second story I got from this author and it did not disappoint. I must say, the ending caught me off guard as I did not see that coming. It is rare I am caught off guard and shocked, but he hit a home run with this story. Would have given it 5 stars but held one back because the story had me wondering where it was going for a long time before it settled on a path.
