About the Author

Godwin Ehigiamusoe is an acknowledged microfinance practitioner who began his engagement in microfinance as a rural co-operative officer before he founded LAPO, a community development microfinance institution. Mr. Ehigiamusoe has been actively involved in efforts at expanding the frontiers of microfinance in Africa. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology, Master’s degree in Development Studies and a diploma in co-operative management. He also authored Understanding NGOs; and Poverty and Microfinance in Nigeria.
