Meet the Author

Pat Williams is the senior executive vice president of the Orlando Magic basketball franchise. He is widely recognized throughout the sports world as a consummate promoter and astute talent scout. His zany antics and endless imagination have inspired the Magic's phenomenal success from their very first NBA season. No other general manager in professional sports has both wrestled a bear and traded Pistol Pete Maravich. While Williams enjoys a widespread reputation in world wide sporting circles, many consider him to be one of this country's premier motivational and humorous speakers. Pat and his wife Ruth, currently reside in Winter Park, Florida. They have nineteen children. Fourteen of the children have been adopted. Four are from South Korea, four are from the Philippines, two from Romania and four from Brazil. Their age range is 11-25.

Free-lance writer Jim Denney has written more than 40 books with a number of different authors, including Super Bowl champion Reggie White, Star Trek actress Grace Lee Whitney, supermodel Kim Alexis, and Orlando Magic executive Pat Williams. He lives in California with his wife and two children.
