Kat often does the wrong thing for the right reason, but now she has gone from being a person you can count on to someone you probably shouldn’t. Suddenly she is looked at differently by everyone at school—even the police are keeping an eye on her. If “one of the best years” of her life starts out like this, what’s next?

    Good Book...

This book is about a girl named Kat, that has a dog named Cheddar. Cheddar was ran over by a car, by a woman with Alzheimer's and is sorry for what she did. Kat was so worried about Cheddar, that she skipped school and borrowed a bike to go to the vet to visit Cheddar. When she went to the vet, somebody else stole the bike from her. Now she's in big trouble, but as time goes by,things get better and seventh grade becomes one of her favorite years in school. My favorite character was Abby because she was very supportive and helpful towards Kat in her rough times. I liked this book because it shows that all negative situations can be turned into positive situations. You shouldn't read this book because it could have been more mature for children.

    I Loved This Book ...

I loved this book because Kat is a lot like me and my friends in seventh grade. She loves animals, especially her dog and she would do anything to see him safe. It made me think about what I would have done if I were in her place and how hard it is to always know when to do the right thing.I keptwanting to turn the pages to find out what was happening next. It's the kind of book that has you laughing one minute and almost crying the next. It's my favorite book so far this year...

    I only looks easy

This book is about Kat Randall's dog Chedder getting runes over by a car. Then she also browses a bike to see the poor dog in the hospital but when she comes out to met the bike the bike is gone. My favorite character was Kat Randall because she is in a twisty mood and here charter traits moves two or more times in the book.I liked this book because it was full of action and you never know whats going to happen next. You should also read this book because if you really like your dog and you are going to the 7th grade this is a good book for you.

    a reviewer

When I first read that Kat's dog Cheddar got ran over I almost cired but I really liked it when they said she would be OK, I felt better. I also thought that Kat and Matthew were going to start going out because I thought Kat and Matt rhymed so it sounded cuter.

It's the Best Book I have read

I liked that this story was told from Kat's perspective. It is a good story about a girl's affection for her pet.
